Sword & Shield Simulator Items Hub
Materials, parts, and finished work — what to keep, melt, or haul back to Danburg.
This hub lists the physical stuff Sword & Shield Simulator cares about. Not skins. Not Roblox pets. Ore, bars, blades, bosses, boards, nails, lockpicks. If it goes in the cart or on the bench, it belongs here.
Start with materials if you are staring at a furnace. Use sword parts with the sword designer. Use shields and ironwork when a contract wants boards instead of a tang. Gathering steps live in How to Get Materials and the cart priority tool.
How to read an item in Early Access
Names on this wiki follow Steam copy and devlogs: coal, iron ore, cupronickel, blades, guards, handles, pommels, shield bosses, horseshoes, scythes, tools. We do not invent a complete database of every mold. Higher-tier catalogs are promised for the full version. If your menu is short, you are not missing a DLC.
Quality is supposed to change price and opportunity. Live traders may not agree yet. Keep high-grade finished work until you know whether travel eats it. Melt junk. Do not melt a quest mesh.
Three piles, not one chest
Fuel and raw metal — coal, iron, alloys, scrap waiting for the smelter. Ghost bugs love this pile. Smelt sooner than you hoard.
Parts — molds, blades, guards, handles, pommels, shield pieces. These are designer food. Losing them to a vanished workbench hurts more than losing ore.
Finished work — swords, shields, lockpicks, nails, knives. Contracts and gates eat this pile. Traders may underpay. See the Early Access review before you liquidate a masterpiece for 400 coin.
Wood sits across piles: handles, boards, tools. Hunt only if a quest asks; carcasses have been a duplication mess.
Where items meet the map
Danburg is the shop and the first contracts. Bloodlands and Grainmill change what scrap and timber look like, not the laws of the smelter. Walk the Map Hub when a node is empty. Come back here when you need to know whether a thing is fuel, a part, or a keeper.
The Guides Hub teaches the verbs. This hub names the nouns. Use both. A smith who only reads recipes still fills the cart with helmets that become two bars.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is there a full item database?
Not a complete mold list. Early Access is incomplete on purpose. We cover named materials, the four sword slots, and modular shields.
Should I sell everything I craft?
No. Keep high-grade pieces for contracts and possible travel trades. Sell fillers.
Where do lockpicks come from?
Craft them on the anvil or find them in the world. Make a few before you pick a cellar.
